The metal garden hose spike is only one female way as inlet conenctor,it is used individual with sprinkler,can not allow unit-to-unit as system to water big area garden or farm.

The male connector on the hose joint the female connector on the spike.there is one O-ring washer in the female connector of spike,it make sure the product is leak free.
